Flooring Planks & Boxes

Laminate, vinyl or engineered flooring: room area plus waste, boxes from the carton coverage, planks and rows from the plank size, and a last-row check.

Area to buy, boxes (rounded up) and their cost, planks per box and total planks, rows across the room, the last-row width and whether to split the first and last rows, and the leftover.

Example: 5 × 4 m with 10 % waste = 22 m²; at 2.2 m² per box that is exactly 10 boxes (100 planks of 1200 × 190 mm); 21 rows across 4 m with a 10 mm gap, last row 180 mm — no sliver.
