A per-wall take-off (common, corner, king, jack, cripple studs and sills), total studs with waste and their linear length, plate and header lengths — layout arithmetic only.
Example: A 20 ft wall with two corners and one 36 × 48 in window at 16 in o.c.: 16 common + 4 corner + 2 king + 2 jack + 2 cripple studs + 1 sill = 27, 30 with 10 % waste, 60 ft of plates.

Studs and plates
Common studs = ⌊length ÷ spacing⌋ + 1 (one at each layout mark plus the end). Corners and intersections add the studs you specify per corner — two or three is a framing choice. Plates: one bottom plate plus one or two top plates, each the wall length; the linear total is what you order.
Openings
Each opening adds 2 king studs and 2 jack (trimmer) studs, cripples above the header at the same spacing — ⌊(width − 2 × stud thickness) ÷ spacing⌋ — a double header of width + 2 × stud thickness (two pieces), and a sill for windows. Studs displaced by the opening are not subtracted; in practice they become the kings and jacks, and the difference sits inside your waste allowance.
Limits
Spacing, stud size, corner detail and plate count are inputs (the prefilled values are labelled samples). Header depth for the span, bearing, spacing limits and fire blocking are design and code matters — none is checked. Nothing leaves the browser; the same four anonymous usage counts as the rest of the site apply.
